Blue River campground Oklahoma

Has any one been here or stayed at this place?
A member here and his wife whom I went to school with was here this past weekend and they loved it!
From what I understand camping is free but all primitive.
Only requirement is an Oklahoma fishing license.
There trying to get us to come down sometime.
About a 12 hour drive for me so i was just wondering.

The only OK campground we have been is in Grove,OK and it wasn't primitive, but Grove did have a great and generous casino.

Tishomingo is the home of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

Looks like its right between me and B47. Straight south of me. My google maps says 112 miles there from my house.
Hollar at me if u come this way Turbs, i could get u a spot around tulsa or if u wanted we have a couple electric and water hookups at our house.

Oh sorry, never been there.....we usually stay east and of okc and don't get south of I40 much. Did some work east of there about 15 years ago in Hugo. Beautiful area, sure is ALOT different terain and vegetation then around us.
Its crazy how divers our state is, hills and pines and hardwoods to the east, and wheat fields and prarie to the west, and a combination of everything inbetween!

Having driven I35 from DFW to OKC for training at the FAA Academy there and back numerous times,I just love the scenery around Pauls Valley and the Arbuckle area, especially in the spring and fall.
