With the weather we have had this year I would be concerned and make sure the "park" hasn't been effected, many have.

Where did you end up staying. Wish I'd have seen this post earlier we travel to Austin multiple times a year in our RV and surrounding areas. Lonestar, outside the city. McKinney Falls is nice - small sites, Oak Forest is my favorite - really close to everything Austin has to offer, clean, pool, great owners. Pecan Grove - If you want submerse yourself in, "Austin" this is the place to stay.

Wilson H. Fox COE Park

The Wilson H. Fox COE park is just outside of Taylor. Nice sites, okay lake, no sewers but dump station. Have stayed there twice and will again.

Check the Army Corps of Engineers sites - many around Austin and near lakes/streams. Well maintained typically.
