Pretty close to there...just a little south actually is Lebanon Hills Regional Park...a county owned park. In there is Lebanon Hills Campground. It has mixed reviews...some say its pretty cramped, ok for a weekend, etc...others say it is fine. We haven't stayed ourselves, but have often looked at it as a possibility as we are often in the Minneapolis area. If you stay there, please let us know how it was.

We just stayed a week at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in Minnesota, the family enjoyed it. We thought it was a nice park and it was close to everything we had to do while we were up there.

You could check out Baker Park reserve. It is just west of the twin cities on lake Independence close to Maple Plaine. It is a pretty new campground. We have not camped there but have been to the campground and it looked pretty good.

Thanks, next time we're up that way we'll check it out. Loved the weather while we were up there, a lot cooler than Kansas.

Alot of reviews say its very crowded...did you feel that? How were the restroom and shower facilities? What campsite were you in?
