Catherine's Landing Hot Springs RV park?

Catherine

Anyone here on the forum been to this park?

LOTS of things to do evidently. Love the salt water pool.

DH and I are booking sites here for the Thanksgiving weekend, with our camping buddies from TX.

I haven't been there, but my in-laws are taking my daughters in two weeks to stay at one of the cabins. DH and I were going to go but DH had several things conflicting. I can give you are report on how nice it is when they return if you don't hear from others before then.

It definitely looks beautiful online and in the pictures. In-laws told me they had a 100 person waiting list when they cancelled the second cabin a few weeks ago, so it must be decent! At the time they booked, we didn't know we'd have our TT by then, but now it looks like we'll have it by next weekend, but still too late to work it out and go.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks! Yes, please give me a report.

We booked two spaced on the waterfront side. We haven't taken a trip since we got back from Pigeon Forge the first of this month.

Can't wait! We will probably make a run to a park about 45 miles from us before then...I'm officially addicted!

We had our very first camping adventure there when we picked up our RV in August. We had a wonderful time. love the salt water pool, the facilities are immaculate and lots of them. Ice is expensive. They sell coffee and beer at the "lodge"/office. Staff is very nice and helpful. They pick up trash twice a day and the sites are level with nicely set up facilities. WIFI is camp wide. The fog on the lake in the morning was gorgeous. We have a blog posting on it here: Our Lake Life Blog: Camping Trip #1

We will be going back!

Stayed there a year or so ago. Get a lakeside site if possible. Worth the extra$$. Nice place.

This will be our first time to spend Thanksgiving with our "family of choice".

And our first time to spend Thanksgiving at an RV Resort.

This is gonna be awesomeness!

We stayed there in August 2012 - in site 118 I think. Other than the unbearable heat it was great! Level sites with grass and space between neighbors. Lots of amenities and great staff. It was like checking into a hotel. We didn't use the amenities but did check them out and everything is so new it's hard to find a complaint.

It is really close to town but feels far away. Probably the big negative is the small road to the place- very narrow with no shoulders and residential areas on both sides for most of the way. Hate to pass another rig coming the opposite way!

Enjoy!

Weezer. My wife and I just got here. It is a beautiful park very well kept, the pads are level we are in slot 104 right by the water and it is perfect. For Monday evening it is very full about 85% I would say.
