Custer, SD

Started out on this trip from Georgia on May 9th. Today we are camping in Custer, SD right next to Mt Rushmore. This is all in our plans of traveling to Alaska. We plan on being in Canada by the 21st. No seriously happened thus far to the Crusader 270RET. Bedroom slide acting up, working on that with Lippert. Gally dump valve handle fell off somewhere between Wall, SD and Custer, working on getting that replaced with something better. Last night went down to 28 degrees...Lookingf forward to the next week out here on the road. Good to have our new found friends traveling with us.

LKicklight, I was in Custer SP last week. I stayed at Blue Bell CG. Nice CG. Where are you staying? Good time to be there-no crowds. Have a good and safe trip.

Plenty to do in the Custer area. I think you're close to the Four Mile Wild West Town Museum. It was interesting and not too expensive if I remember correctly. Worth it if you have the time. Although I don't put it in the "must see" category.

BAHWAHHHHHH...you guys enjoy and think of kerrlakelover. We've planned for a year to go out there in July. Last week, due to illness in the family, our RVing buddies had to back out. So, looks like we'll have to go west another time. Be safe, enjoy and "stay warm at night".
