Well...
Do you want an RV resort or just electricity.
We've been to both types all over western Michigan.
We're getting spoiled with the full hookup parks 😜 but there's plenty of nice parks either way

I grew up in St Clair Shores and we went to Pinery (Grand Bend Ont) many weekends every summer (not exactly in Michigan, but great camping).

Within Michigan I like Warren Dunes and PJ Hoffmaster state parks. I bit further away is Sleeping Bear Dunes DH Day. For the 600 mile trip try Porcupine Mountains State park (spectacular in the fall).

Also if you want to head south try Hocking Hills state park in Ohio.

Young State Park in Boyne is one of our favorites, especially in spring and fall.

Grand Haven State Park. Really just a parking lot, but right on a great beach, beautiful lighthouse and easy walk into town for Singing Fountain Show.

We like Duck Creek RV resort in Muskegon MI. Took the grand kids there last summer the park has a real nice playground and a pool. Grandkids had a ball there also the campground has paved roads so they could use their scooters in the campground.
