I've stayed at CBs 6 times and was always welcomed and felt secure. Breakfast the next morning isn't far away either. No semi trucks running all night or cranking up and no coming in or leaving.

Do you run your generator while at a Cracker Barrel for your AC or are you popping windows and vents and hoping for the best?

Overnight in our church lot and you'll probably wake next morning and find your rig on blocks.

If its hot weather, too hot for a night's sleep, we don't stay. I'm full solar [800 watts with 5,000 watt inverter and 600+amp hr battery bank, but it will only run the AC for a few hours before depleting the bank. I just don't push it.
If I planned on staying overnight during hot weather, I would carry our 3,500 watt generator in the truck bed and use it. It will run the big AC easily [15,000btu]

I like CB but have not stayed at any overnight (we are newbies and have only stayed at parks so far). Please do not stop at CB I55 N Jackson,ms. I don't know if they even allow overnighting and I hesitate saying this b/c I don't want to hurt their business but I would feel worse if something happened to one of my RV friends. Lots of crime in this area. Recently couple had their pickup truck and uhaul type trailer stolen while eating.
