Galveston Island State Park

Just finishing a great week at Galveston Island State Park. The RV is parked about 600 feet from the Gulf of Mexico. You can hear the waves from the RV and the beaches are deserted this time of year. I got lucky with the days clear and upper 50's to mid 60's. Chilly at night, but not too bad. Very peaceful place to wander the beaches.
Just giving a report on a good park.
Peace be with you.

Jamaica Beach RV is also nice. Have not camped at the state park in a long time but we lived on the island for years.
