Okay, I'll give some highlights
Ocean Springs,MS-French Kiss bakery is great, Shaggys on the beach is fun, Davis Bayou campground in gulf island national park is very nice.
Silver slipper buffet is very good and is close enough to drive into new orleans
Fountainbleu State Park in Mandeville is just across the Causeway from NOLA and is a really great park. Only has 4 full hook up sites so book it early. In Mandeville, rusty pelican restaurant is really good.
Tickfaw state park is swampy so I'm thinking it will be full of mosquitoes. I'll find out this summer.
