Waterloo/Lost Island KOA. Better than I thought. Very full but pretty well spaced out for an RV park.

Never been to a KOA mainly because the ones I've seen looked like sardines in a can. This one looks like something I could tolerate.

Feeling like a proud father. My oldest daughter(9) decided she wanted to have a sleepover in the camper for her birthday party. So we are back at West Lake Park again this weekend!

Weekend off for me. I am working some overtime and I need to start hauling stuff to the landfill from my basement. One kid is semi moved out and the next kid wants the basement so it's time to clean it up a little. Now that school and school activities are in session we will start camping at Morgan Creek more.

Googled it. Looks like a great place to camp, Electra Glide. Far enough from CR, but still close enough if things are needed. I have family in CR and have been looking for a site close by. Thanks for the tip!

It's a really nice campground. The arboretum nearby has some nice trails. 30 amp and water with a dump station and bath house. Since it's smaller they do tend to stay open later in the year than the larger campgrounds.

Spent the weekend home taking care of lawn and home duties. At least the grass doesn't grow as fast this time of year. Back to Crazy Acres in Ackley IA next two weekends. Looking forward to some taters and onions in foil on the grill and a nice fire in the evenings.
