Whoever has stayed at flying squirrel, do they have fresh water at the dump station? I'm going to Romper Room (Earlville Speedway) and want to get water on the way up there. I'll be dry docking for 4 days there.

NEVER get fresh water "at the dump station!" If there's fresh water, it will be somewhere else.

Typically fresh water is near the dump station and clearly marked fresh. I know the difference but I can't recall if Flying Squirrel had water.
My storage lot has water but it's at the dump and I would not fill up there.

One of our members @RESET has wintered there. He could tell you more about it.
I thought that would tag him. User name is RESET here.

"Iowa" who's camping where?
We have been at Sleepy Hollow for about a week and will be here another 2 weeks. This is our 2nd year and find it very relaxing and reasonable. Under new ownership, but it was just from parents to middle aged children. Most of the sites are level, may have to find just the "right spot" initially. They have lots of activities for the kids on the weekends. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Stop by 106 and say "HI". Safe travels.

All of the loops including non-electric are listed as having "pressurized water." It's an unusual listing wriitten by someone who probably has never camped, but there should certainly be plenty of water in the campground.

If not labeled potable, don't drink it. But nearly all dump stations at decent parks including state and federal parks have one tap clearly labeled rinse water only - do not drink, and one labeled fresh drinking water - do not use for rinsing tanks. Typically the water is exactly the same, the difference is that the connections on the flushing water are not sanitary.

I am heading to a racetrack for a motorcycle rally. I am dry docking out in the pit parking. I am trying to get water before I get to the racetrack. It gets crowded out there quick and I have not found an easy spot to get water there. I used to get a full hookup spot in the past so never bothered to look. Flying Squirrel just happens to be on my way out and thought I could get water there. Not sure where else to get water.

We were just at Sleepy Hollow 2 weeks ago, site #73. Had a dead tree over us that the birds loved. They bombed the heck out of our steps. Wife was NOT a happy camper! Also, the sewer connections were subpar. Ours wasn't really a pipe fitting sticking out of the ground with a cap as you usually see. It was actually just a weird hole in the ground. I looked into it and I THINK there was some kind of a pipe in it, but it certainly wasn't the usual 4" version. Since we were only going another hour west to the Newton KOA in 2 days, we just did without the sewer. The Newton KOA was very nice, as KOA's go.

Contrary to popular belief, Iowa IS NOT FLAT! Anybody that has pulled a TT in Iowa will tell you that.

Almost forgot. I did not check Flying Squirrel because I was able to get free water fill up (Potable water) at Squaw Creek. You go to the dump area circle and there is fresh water there.
