Never been camping in Tx and My wife has work near Justin for a week in the beginning of Nov. we are looking to make a vacation out of it and visit friends in ft worth. Can anyone recommend a nice camp ground near Justin to stay? Thanks

I have never camped here, but have visited friends while camping here. I've also known some fellow RVers who have camphosted here. It is a really nice park, and very clean.

X2 on The Vineyards. Great place and you can also catch the train from Grapevine to the Ft. Worth Stockyards.

When down at SA, the RV parks are on the north side off Loop 1603. Tere is also a nice one by fiesta Texas and Sea World.

Check out the TPWD website also. The state parks are pretty good for the most part and there are butt loads of them.

Well our trip was good/fair. just a few issues. Apparently the camp grounds was having some work completed during our ten day stay. The two spots across from us had issue with the septic drain pipes and needing replacing. The crew started their day at seven am, sharp everyday! Now I am a pretty easy going person and understand how construction works, but to wake up to dump trucks, heavy equipment and jack hammers every morning is a bit much. And the water was turned off 6 hours, and never notified me. I spoke to the city Foreman , David and was very helpful. He made a bad situation a lot better by hearing me out and trying to help! Being it was Veterans day weekend we had family and friends out to the site for a BBQ that Saturday.David told us that since we were in convinced what could he do to make up for it? So I asked if he would waive the entrance fee for our guests and if he would throw us a bundle of fire wood for That evening. He did and also gave us a complimentary golf cart for the remainder of our stay(3 days) . He saw my FRF stickers and asked if I was visiting with the rest of the FROG gang in March. I felt that David went above and beyond to make it right and because of his attitude and customer service we will visit again! The BBQ with our guest was great and the fire at night was just right. Thank you David at Vineyard campgrounds
