LA & TX Campground Suggestions ??

Any recommendations for kid friendly campgrounds on Toledo Bend on La side or south end on the Tx side. Want a site on the water since we would be bringing kayaks.

Hey sbreen...you should probably start a new thread for this. It will get buried quickly in this one. I will be watching it also, since that's one part of East Texas I haven't been camping yet. Well, not since the mid-70's anyway.

South and North Toledo Bend State parks. We have stayed at S. Toledo. No TV reception but free WI-FI. I received signal from Verizon but friend could not receive AT &T,

Do a Google maps search for RV parks near Leesville, LA. There are a number of them. I lived out there for a year last year for work and it is a beautiful place. Don't forget Lake Sam Raburn just North of Jasper. Lots to do out there and some of the best bass fishing in the world.
