Lake Greeson, Ark

Anyone been to Parker Creek or Cowhide Cove on Lake Greeson in Arkansas? Prefer one over the other ?
Thanks

My son and DIL live very close to that area. I mentioned the possibility of taking our new RV to Cowhide. He advised against camping at Lake Greeson altogether. He says the area is "very run down" now compared to when we used to camp there when our sons were young.

We camped at parker creek over the Labor Day Weekend this year. Like stated, stuff there was outdated but very very clean. We used the showers and the bathrooms all weekend and even with the crowd. Stayed clean. We did notice that when we went and looked at Daisy State Park on the other end of the lake, that they were building new restrooms and bath houses.

Try Petit Jean State Park in Morrilton, AR. It is not far from you. We have a daughter in Tahlequah, OK and stop at Petit Jean on our way to visit the daughter. It is a very nice state park, look it up at RV park review.

As I've mentioned, DH and I are spending Thanksgiving at Lake Catherine, at Catherine's Landing (an RV "resort"). Friends have camped there and highly recommend it.

It's near Hot Springs, BTW.
