Lake ouachita (hot springs) recommendation

I am looking for a recommendation for an rv campsite for this lake in March
We prefer a pullthru and 50 amp service, view of lake at least if not on it, clean and no mob parties going on

I can't make a recommendation to you cause it's been 20+ years since I've been there. But I have many wonderful memories of the camping we did at Lake Quachita for 5 years straight. Enjoy yourself wherever you end up. The campground we used was right outside Hot Springs and I'm sure it's changed greatly in all these years.

We really enjoy Lake Ouachita State Park. I think loop A has full hook up sites and many have lake view. I do not think there were any pull thru sites there but most of the sites are very easy to back into. The park itself is very nice and they have a park ranger conducted lake cruise that was great! You are close to Hot Springs and also a nice restaurant - Home Plate on Highway 7. I recommend you make reservations asap since this is a popular park.

Are you dead set on Lake Ouachita?

If not, check out Catherine's Landing RV Resort....Lake Catherine, Hot Springs

We spent Thanksgiving there. NICE!

It's been a couple of years since we've been there, but it is a very nice park. The FU sites are great and easy to get into. It is a popular park, so make your reservations ASAP.

We camped here about 7 years ago...very tight, compact campground...at the time we had a TT that measured approx 38' long, tip to tip, was challenging getting setup due to everyone having to park their vehicles on the side of the road.
Overall, great location if you're spending time at Magic Springs just down the road

We camped at Catherine's Landing in October, it was great. We are already talking about when we can go back. Very well maintained and sites are spacious.

Another vote for Catherine's landing, we were there last June, waterfront site was very nice in the evenings with the cool water coming from the dam.

Lake Quachita State Park. We camp there a couple of times a year. There are 3 RV camping sites but the first one on the left coming in is the only one that has full hook ups. No pull troughs. All sites have a lake view. You can Google Lake Quachtia State Park and get full details.

Last time we camped in the Hot Springs area we stayed at Cloud Nine just outside of Hot Springs. It sets high on a rise with a beautiful overlook. No pool, no water view, just lovely nature landscape. Facilities were exceptional, site no perfectly level but very workable. Great community center with ever brewing coffee and pastries .

Great staff, reasonable rates and so so WiFi.
