Lake Superior Circle Trip

We're contemplating taking our 34' travel trailer & 2015 Ram 2500 CTD on a circle trip around Lake Superior in July. Have any of you folks done this? If so, do you have any recommendation as to things to see and do or good campgrounds?

Thanks!

Highly recommend Muskollunge State Park as a base camp for Eastern UP or the taq falls park

Trip up to Copper Harbor is well worthwhile, "Copper Island" is rich in history and absolutely beautiful. There is a campground there up there as well. You definitely want to park your rig and go exploring!

We are going to be doing the circle trip in late May-June, so will be home when you leave. But we did the Minnesota-Wisconsin-western UP segment previously. One of our favorite places was Copper Harbor on the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. We stayed at Ft. Wilkins SP. Take or rent a canoe or kayak!

Hi

Your only real option on the Canadian east side of Superior is Rabbit Blanket Provincial Park. There are 2 or 3 sites that can accommodate the length of your rig. All are back in spots.

Use Ontario Parks to reserve.

It's a lot easier on the TV going south from T Bay to the Soo.
