Leaf blowers should be banned in campgrounds except for staff. Not only is the noise offensive but the debree could damage property or harm some one.

I have a rechargeable one that I use if necessary only to blow off tops of slideouts before retracting. Would never use early in morning or late at night

I always take pics ryand, at my age itís the only way I can remember where I have been.

Wakonda state park sounds like an interesting park with a swimming beach and six lakes that attract migratory water fowl. The campground has about 80 campsites and 4 or 8 of them are full hookup sites depending on which webpage you look at. Iím guessing the park recently upgraded from 4 to 8 full hookup sites. Wakonda is one of those parks that have never been on my radar so Iím looking forward to spending a couple of nights there and checking it out. The corps parks we have in our area are hard to beat though.

I run my a/c blower all night to off set any noises so I feel your pain. Late night party's well I've been to some because you can't sleep thru them so I try a get a free beer and then put my a/c blower on high. Good luck with the lawn guy and his weed eaters and leaf blowers.

That's annoying as hell. Go bang on his door 1/2 hr after he turns out his lights to remind him not to leaf blow first thing in the morning....

Now that's a good idea but make sure he's asleep first.

We camped at the Dale Hollow Dam Campground in Tennessee 2 weeks ago. The park staff would blow off campsites daily, usually just after being vacated. One morning they were out before 8 a.m. So much for the tranquility of trout fishing on a foggy stream early in the morning.
