Looking for Campground in Lower Michigan

We are thinking about spending 4 - 5 days in lower Michigan. We are interested if anyone has any recommendations. We would like full hookup.
Thanks

West side. We usually like to camp at the state parks, but we know that they are currently reserved. Since we are going to have to stay at a private campground, we would like full hookups and any recommendations. We have looked into the River Ridge RV Resort but we haven't decided yet.

Jellystone campground in Mears is a wonderful place. Can be busy though as the Silver Lake Sand Dunes are just a short drive away.

Might have been able to help you better on the East side, But stay away from Drews Country Camping and Greenwood Acres..those are not very well taken care of, Jellystone in Mears was nice..close to the Dunes.

I'm west of Grand Rapids so to me Lower MI could be Markin Glen in Kalamazoo. It's a nice county park for fishing, hiking (at the nature center) and biking.

I could give a bunch of reccomendations depending on your interests and maybe more specific area info...

I'm not sure what you want to be near, but ~45 min south of Grand Rapids is a nice RV park.

Hidden Ridge-An RV Resort: The friendliest, deluxe RV resort in west Michigan

We are thinking about trying this place for a quick weekend ourselves.

Also, we are spending a week @ Ponchos Pond RV park in Ludington. All the amenities. Many great things to do in the Ludington area. Highly recommended!

Thank you for all of your responses. We ended up staying at the River Ridge RV Resort in Stanwood MI. It was a very different experience for us. We usually like to camp in state campgrounds which have more privacy and a camping atmosphere. However, this was new to us and it was another wonderful aspect of camping. We really felt like we were at a vacation resort. The place is immaculate and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The pool is amazing and it was wonderful having the marina right at the property. If you are looking for a resort atmosphere we would highly recommend this place.
That's what we really like about camping, each trip brings different experiences and memories!

We left the rally this morn (Goshen) and are just north of Grand Rapids. Has anyone ever stayed at the Little River Casino RV park or Matson's Big Manistee River Campground?

Covert KOA, outside of South Haven is very nice. Close to South Haven, Mich. Nice pool and facilities. Good camp store, ice cream, etc. Fun place for kids. Family run facility.
