Will be watching this post as I am looking in that area as well. Have done a Google search and didn't really come up with anything too great.

We are currently at the Wiederkehr winery and RV park. "Park" is a bit of a stretch. About 15 back in sites, and since we are the only ones here, we are park sideways; (it's about 100' degrees with the humidity) some of the sites are 110v only and the other side is 30 amp. All have H2o but no sewer. Bathrooms, but no showers. About 4 miles south of the I-40. Wonderful staff, and a gift shop and restaurant dating back to the late 1800's.

Not too far off the I-40 in the vicinity of Ft. Smith towards the town of Altus, Arkansas. Click image for larger version

Maumele is a Corp lake, next to the James River, very nice and convenient.

Just past, Little Rock along I-40, town of Russelville, Ivy Cove RV. We've used it a few times passing through that area.

North little Rock city RV Park

We have stayed here 3 times now.....the last time in early July this year. Less than 3 miles off of I-40, right on the Arkansas river and across the river from the Bill Clinton Library and Museum. Great spot, great folks and a great value.

The best in the area is Maumelle park off Hwy 10. The one at the river across from Clinton library is nice with no trees like a parking lot. It is in a bad neighborhood.
