Midwest Water Park

Starting to plan the trips for next summer. My kids have fallen in love with the RV parks with "expanded" pools (i.e. splash pads, water slides, etc.). Does anyone have suggestions for sites in the Midwest? We are planning a trip that will go Cincinnati through central Michigan, through the UP, into MN and WI, and down through Missouri and back I70.

Thanks for the help!

Not directly in the campground, but if you go to:

https://www.duckcreekrvresort.com/index.html

Right across the street is:

https://www.miadventure.com

It's owned by the same company that owns Cedar Point, and has similar amenities.

Ironically Duck Creek is the place that lead to the question. We spend 2 long weekends there this summer and it worked out great! I highly recommend it to anyone looking in western Michigan. Great park, Michigan Adventure is right across the street, and the beach is about 45 minutes away.

Yeah, we've done Michigan's Adventure twice. The first time, we stayed at the local KOA, but the day we went to the park, we spotted Duck Creek. Stayed at DC the second time, and it was a huge improvement over the KOA.

Another one you can consider is: https://www.frankenmuthjellystone.com

We stay there every year on our May long weekend. (The weekend before the US long weekend.) Across the street is: https://www.zehnders.com/zehnders-splash-village/ Not to mention, all the other tons of tourist trap stuff there is to do in Frankenmuth.

If your route involves Indiana, Prophetstown State Park in West Lafayette has a really nice lazy river and slides. Also interesting historical stuff and a farm you can purchase fresh eggs and meat from.

Stop at Adventureland Amusement Park and Adventure Bay Water Park. Two parks with one price and large campground with fhu's and easy walk or ride shuttle to the gate. In Altoona Iowa 10 minutes from Des Moines right off Interstate 80. Opens last weekend of April 2019 with seven day a week operation end of May.

Kentucky Splash, right off I75, is ONLY a water park, but also has it's own campground, full hookups, right on site
Welcome to Williamsburg, Kentucky

KINGS ISLAND, between Cincinnati/Columbus,
and KINGS DOMINION, n of Richmond VA
are both sister parks, and are excellent for families - easy walking, too
https://www.kingsdominion.com/

but, maybe the 'best', and FREE! entry(bring grammy and grandpa!),
is KNOEBELS (pronounced "K'nobles") in Elysburg, PA - just s of I80
and it has it's own CAMPGROUND, right on site...
https://www.knoebels.com/

been to all, and all are great : )

Coming through Wisconsin you would want to hit the dells area. Tons of campgrounds in that area with water parks everywhere. Like stated few few posts ago warrens has a nice resort/water park which is just north of the dells area about 30-45 minutes.
