Mill Creek Canton, Tx.

This is a nice resort. Nice laundry rooms and pools (3). Gated entry and exit. Lots of trees. Also have cottages to rent. The first section is all RVs and the roads are good. However the second section also has RVs but also cottages and the Grand Lodge. The roads there are rough and awful. There was also noone there to guide us to our site so we got sidetracked onto the awful roads. The site we were in had its own water feature in the way of a low spot that collects rain water and is a mosquito breeding haven. THE concrete pads are not wide enough to allow for sitting out. One step out the door and you are on the grass. The TV reception is via cable. A very few of the channels are viewable because of being very grainy. The grass seems to always be in need of mowing. There is a fishing pond here also. On a scale of 5, I would give a 3. Other than First Monday there is not much to do around Canton. The posted pic is 3 steps out my front door.Click image for larger version

Thanks for the review. We looked at this when we went there a few years back. I can't remember why we chose elsewhere, but we regretted that decision also. But if I read your review correctly, the first section would be the place to get a spot. Is there a reason you went to section 2 instead of 1?

Yeah, that little low spot needs to be fixed. It surely couldn't take much fill dirt to fix it.

Your little water feature was caused by rain, something that you might not have ever seen in Amarillo but is seen frequently in East Texas. Thanks for the review - very useful.
