Mountain Home Arkansas

Just returned from a 5 day trip to Mountain Home/Lake Norfork area. Used a private park called Denton Ferry which is rated by Good Sam. The park roads and sites are gravel and they are level. There are 3 roads and around 50 or so sites. Each site has a grassy area, a wooden picnic table and the sites are full hookups. The White River is about 50 yards from the back row of sites. The park is quiet but near a major highway to be convenient. Two thirds of the sites are pull-throughs. The front end of your RV faces a little south east at a bit of an angle which means you get the setting sun at an angle on the door side of our RV. Would use the park again.

You probably wouldn't be interested in our pics, lol. Most of them are of our recently rescued boxer while he was on the pontoon boat. We didn't take any "vacation" pictures. I'm from Arkansas and it was more like being home than on a vacation. Sorry.

I stayed at Denton Ferry RV Park this past Feb.. It is a nice clean park right on the White River. I would definitely stay there again. The guy who owns it is a great guy. He helped us figure out now to fish the river.

My inlaws live in Mountain Home, we visit that area once a year. I think I know the campground you stayed at. There was one campground that I saw and it had sites that were right on the river. I can't remember the name, just drove thru it...........

Correction..I just went to there website. This is the park I drove thru!
