Cedars of Lebanon State Park — Tennessee State Parks

Large rustic sites and 15-20 minute to downtown Nashville.

If your military, retired military,or 100% DAV, Arnold AFB is just south of Nashville. It's funny I was just looking at it today. I plan on staying there for probably a month in the near future. I know it's not Nashville, but just a thought. $20 bucks a night.

The KOA on Music Valley Drive, Nashville recently upgraded several of their sites on the first row. Prior to that I recommended Yogi Bear Jellystone on Music Valley Drive. A lot of people like Two Rivers on Music Valley Drive. All three within sight of each other, almost.

I stayed at Two Rivers campground on Music Valley drive and liked it very much. The sites were reasonably sized and the campground is just a couple miles from the Grand Ole Opry. The thing I liked most about it was the live country music for a couple hours in the evening behind the office. It was not loud like a concert but a nice, small setting where you can setup a chair and listen. And I am not a concert fan, but the small informal setting was really nice.

We stayed at 2 Rivers also and liked it very much. There is the shuttle that goes to the Opry but we drove and never had any issues parking or getting out when the show was over.

We stayed at the Nashville KOA a few years ago. Very nice campground, like metioned above, live music, friendly staff, ncie sites, clean surroundings, and IIRC right across the street from the Grand Ole Opry.

Two years ago we were passing thru the area and spent the night at Seven Point COE Park.

It was about a 15 min drive to the attractions in town.
