Park to park

Do any of you snowbirds move from park to park or do you all stay at the same park all winter. We are looking at corp parks in southern Alabama and Georgia?

We shed the snow, sold everything and went full time in June. So, far, we have spent most of our time in Myrtle Beach but, have taken off 3 times so far just to see someplace new or meet up with family. Admittedly though, we have only stayed at our "home" parks or Coast to Coast parks,

It seems that many sit in one place all winter. But I've read of a handful of folks who move regularly. Down in Florida, in the Orlando area, I could flip-flop between a Thousand Trails park and another for fairly inexpensively for an entire season. We did 5 weeks there for $135 this past summer.

We like to sit for several months at a time in the winter. We found a small park in Port Aransas TX that fits the bill for us. They have activities, including pot lucks, bingo, game nights, mens coffee and happy hour seven days a week, and right on the shuttle route so we can let the tractor sit. Met many folks that we stay in touch with and look forward to seeing this winter. Now, having said all that, some folks will say that's too much "organized friendship" and "organized activities" for us. But the nice thing about this park is you are welcome to participate or not. The folks will not shun you, but they will also not beg you to join. Join in or not on things. Up to you. We like the choice and like all the winter folks. Also get better rates on monthly stays.
