Planning a trip to Crystal Bridges Museum, Bentonville, AR

And was surprised to see on their website that they have NO RV PARKING ALLOWED. They say we can park over at the Orchard Park parking lot. It's a community park with a pond, walking paths, open amphitheater and 4-5 soccer fields.

I talked to someone up there and they said the saturday we are thinking about is a big soccer days and weeks, lots of people and the parking lot is usually overflowing.

How could a place like Crystal Bridges not accommodate even letting us park?

We have a 32' Class C Coachmen Leprechaun 317.

So we were thinking about heading up (from Little Rock, AR area) friday night after work. We need a place to stay that is either temporary or an RV safe place that we can bike to the museum. The closest RV park is in Bella Vista about 10 miles or more away. We do not have a "toad" only bikes.

What are our options? How do you plan around these kinds of RV-unfriendly places?

THANKS!

Get a toad or don't go there.

Yup, after speaking with parks and rec in Bentonville, they do not have any RV or campground accommodations anywhere in town or even nearer than 10 miles away.

So it's rent a car, get a toad, or cancel trip.

I spoke with Crystal Bridges Museum and expressed my dismay that they did not even plan to accommodate motorhomes for those that are traveling from out of state. They have definitely limited who can make it there and who wants to plan it as a destination.

Oh well.

Thanks!
