Rapid City SD.

First big vacation in the Cherokee coming up! So very excited! Are first real vacation in many years. ( we go to our "home" CG every other weekend). We are leaving SE Minnesota early AM on July 20th and hopefully we will be pulling into the CG mid PM.
The three things we plan to do is see Mt Rushmore, see Crazyhorse, and go to the badlands. Is there any other "must see/do" items to put on the list? We will be there for a week and we have never been there before. If any of you will be there and are looking for a night of comradery let me know. Thanks all.

There is plenty of info here depending on your interest -kids, food, scenery, animals etc.
Somebody gave me this link "Check out this website for planning ideas" Black Hills & Badlands - South Dakota | Home of Mount Rushmore. Black Hills & Badlands - South Dakota | Home of Mount Rushmore

We are planning a trip for late August ourselves and hope to do the loops -Badlands Park and Custer Park.
