The Vineyards

We did go the Fort Worth as planned in our new Columbus 320RS. We stayed at the Vineyards and it was very nice - we would place it as one of the best we have ever stayed at. The primary reason for this choise was location locaction location. It was within 10 minutes of our Sons and his family while all other were over 40+ minutes through city traffic and too much construction. Even though it was near the city it was quite except for the distant sound of the the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Traffic.

Thanks again for all those who responded, some of the other campgrounds sound very nice and we may very well try those in the future.

We head out in a little over a week for 11 days to Houston County Lake, Crockett Family RV Resort in Crockett, TX. Lotsa trees and hopefully the lake water level hasn't dropped drastically...... We'll be under the trees and with a lot of friends!

Will post pics when we return (maybe while we're there!).

We were there about two weeks ago, the water was down quite a bit. We were pretty much the only ones there. Maybe you have been there before, but to us....the place could use a good bit of TLC.
