There is a KOA north of West Memphis in AR. IT is close to Memphis, TN. We have stayed there more than once and it is ok.
Be careful in Memphis as it is not the safest city. Daytime should be okay.

Tom Sawyer RV Park is in West Memphis, Arkansas, and is well worth the stay. We have stayed a couple of times during the BBQ contest. Love being on the Mississippi River and watching the barges and tugs going up and down he river. Free laundry facilities is a bonus.

I have not stayed at Tom Sawyer but reviews are good and looks good. Depending on where you are coming from and going to, Memphis Jellystone is great for kids and we have stayed there. We have also stayed at the casinos in Tunica and Robinsinville, MS which is just south of Memphis. They are mostly parking lots with a little grass but have full hook ups and are inexpensive for a quick nights stay. We live in Memphis area and would be glad to give you any additional information on the area. Stay away from I40 & 240 interchange in east Memphis, there is a major contruction project going on.

X2 on Tom Sawyer in West Memphis. We stayed there for a couple days last spring on a beautiful concrete pull through on the bank of the Mississippi, watching the barges go up and down the river. Nice people, great site, free laundry, and very reasonable rates when we were there.

We have stayed at Tom Sawyer twice. The river is literally a stone's throw away. I believe it is a Good Sam park too. West Memphis, Ar.

We stayed 2 nights at Tom Saywer on way back from Fl. It is great ! We plan to go back this fall and see what there is to see in Memhis. I could just sit at the park and watch the barges on the river. The channel goes right along the edge of the park

We spent three nights at AgriCenter RV Park in East Memphis last weekend. It's level, flat and cheap ($30 full hookup). It's about 5 miles off of the Interstate. There's nothing at the campground, but lots of restaurants and Shelby Farms close by. My dog enjoyed the 100 acre dog park.

Tom Sawyer was too far away from my brother for me to stay there.

If you're retired military, the Memphis Naval Station is very nice. Two parks. Best one's just behind the commissary.

X3, it's been awhile since we stayed at Tom Sawyer's, but really enjoyed it. Liked watching the river traffic also. Don't forget to visit the Peabody Hotel if you have time. Watch the ducks parade from the elevator to the fountain. Beale St is great.
