Yes, my DH and I went there this last May. I personally really liked our short visit. We went at the last minute and the only campsite available was 69, which was not the best option because it was too close to the other ones on each side of it, but the loop we were on was very quiet with only 10 campsites on that loop. Other campsites on that loop were quite spacious, had nice shade and were right on the water - like sites 73 to 76 were all quite nice. Also, the hiking trail was very close by and it connects to the trails from Martin Dies State Park. I definitely want to go back
