Last I heard I-10 west bound was closed at the Louisiana/Texas state line, not sure about now though.

Both east and west bound of IH 10 are closed at the Texas/Louisiana border due to flooding. It may be ok by next Wednesday.

We just came across La and Miss on I10 today. Those that are saying I10 is closed at the La/TX borders are absolutely correct. The rest of I10 is open all the way to, and beyond, Pensacola,!

Thanks to you all . Hoping to be open by Wednesday. Otherwise may need to just cancel😭, and head back to Wisconsin. Not really big on major re- routes.

Latest info on road closures in Louisiana at the website below. I was on the road today several hours, and heard an announcement that due to expected coming weather and high waters flowing south out of Toledo Bend, I-10 was expected to be closed for the next week or more.

Ugh...

😭. That would kill my trip. Can't see an alternate route that will not add 200 more miles. If there is I can't see it. I have a 33 ft mh plus a toad.

What is your proposed route? I can possibly provide an alternate route with minimal added miles.

From San Marcos via 80 to I10 east to Pensacola. Planned for at least 2 days of driving . Any suggestions are appreciated. Just hoping that the water goes down and that the folks affected can get back to there property.

Okay, when you get to the ease side of Beaumont on I-10, move to the left hand lane. Highway 12 turns north-east from Vidor, Texas. Take that route to cross the Sabine River, then turn south at DeQuincy on Hwy 27. That will take you back to I-10. It's a few miles out of the way, but it looks like the Hwy 12 Sabine River bridge is open. Hwy 12 is pretty good road until you get into Louisiana.
Main difference is the lack of shoulders, but at least it's not gravel ! lol

Drive Safe!

According to the TXDOT website, the Hwy. 12 bridge is closed.
