Ok, they are very cryptic on their procedures and levels... They want to make you come to a "meeting" (IE high pressure sales pitch) to even tell you what a policy change is within the system. That DOES get a bit old. We get calls all the time about the GREAT NEW FEATURES WE CAN GET... We just need to attend this meeting... A return call takes some time to weed through the BS and we usually find out they are not adding anything we already do not have!

Heh, funny you mention that. I currently have a reservation that goes until July 1 because I can't have July 4th on the books as a reservation. I'll either extend it or driveway camp at my in-laws.

These are always 3rd party sales calls. I've asked to be removed from that calling list and don't get them any longer.

We may have to do this. They never know anything and the last meeting "in our area" was Baltimore... Not really in our area. I remember when we just went to the office and they had TT Staff THERE that could answer your questions... Now I need to call ELS and sit on hold for 20 minutes. The onyl time it helped us was when we returned the call about the OW option. It was free but WE needed to call and ask about it to get it...

I am no fan of TT. We did a year membership and we were highly disappointed. If interested I can tell you.

But I did not just post to complain. Tranquil Timbers in Sturgeon Bay WI was one of the TT places we stayed at. We really liked it. It was a very nice place.

Might as well. Have 19 pages of goods and bads. Might not be bad to "update" things with more current opinions since I seem to be seeing a bit more of "upgrades" starting at the parks.

Last meeting I attended the only thing there that was exciting albeit a 10:00 am Saturday meeting was Dark Roast Coffee and Fresh Donuts at Sea Pines in NJ....lol

Friends of mine renewed for that 4 year special @ $425.00 per year but have the same 60 day booking limit, and as we all seem to now have the one Holiday at a time limit. To me until they settle all the BS around TT, Outdoor World, and Seasonal sites I will do a year to year, as I never make it further then the North and South East Zones anyway.

My DW and I stayed at The Oaks and there is really nothing there. It is really bad when it rains. I think there is only one area that is gravel sites and does not get standing water as bad as the others. We did stay there for 8 days last October but did not stay in the campground. We spent most of our time taking day trips to different areas.

I have not been to the other one but IMHO I think Carolina Landing would be a better choice compared to The Oaks.

Thanks, I think we are heading to Tennessee as it might be a bit warmer there? I am team searching it now so anything on CG's in TN would be helpful too
