We got to visit the Railroad Museum in Sacramento this summer, it was really impressive one of the best museums I've visited.

Sure looks like one of those toxic campgrounds.

You should be careful, so as not to anger the children that want to borrow your scooter...

You have steam trains in Pa. Stroudsburg. There is also Cass, West Virginia. Gear driven steam. Just no cell or radio or Tv there. 2 pay phones. Also up in New Hampshire. For train lovers, there are a couple of books that list them all.

Now if you like to camp near trains and want to get shaken out of bed. Stay at the Avil camp ground at Williamsburg VA. Tent sites are 20 feet from tracks! I stay there every year. Very nice CG and the family that runs it!

Spencer RR museum in NC also a nice place to visit and they have short train rides in AC coaches . We also have the SAM RR out of cordele, GA. Nice campground at lake Blachshear and you can also catch the train there. Takes you to President Jimmy Carters home. Later RJD
