Couldn't agree more. The Tetons are probably the most beautiful Mountains in America because of the lack of foothills. You stare across beautiful lakes and then BAM, Big Ole Mountains
while you are there take the ferry across Jenny lake and do the Hidden Falls/ Inspiration Point hike (1 mile each way). Its a easy hike to the Falls (.5 miles), then a steeper hike to the point (.5 miles). While we were there last year we saw a black bear on this trail.
