Updates on I71 and I65 to Nashville

Our forum is getting well known. My friend is traveling from Dayton, Ohio through Louisville to Nashville soon. With the closure of I 75 she is concerned about traffic. Since we have such a good network she asked if I would check to see how traffic is moving along this route. Any one traveling around Nashville recently? Thanks for any updates!

When/if you get through Louisville you should be okay. The interstate construction in Louisville is a disaster and is very easy to have to exit and continually have to circle in downtown.

Simple...Don't drive through Louisville. On I-71 south exit on to I-265 also known as the "Gene Snyder". You can take that all the way to I-65 south, and then straight to the Tennessee line. This way you avoid all the bridge mess in downtown Louisville.

Thanks. Our early trip went well but we weren't towing. Going south again this fall and will try this route.
I wish there was some way to save a message on the forum for quicker reference later like emails. Hopefully I will be able to find this again.
