I live on the NC/SC coast. Once about every 3 years we get a dusting that lasts 1/2 the day. Close to the coast is key. It still gets Yankee cool (nothing a northerner considers cold) but I'm going to FL 1/15 through Feb....

"When does the snow end"? Probably around late May, early June, to be totally safe.

Back in the 60's Myrtle beach got hit with 12" of snow. The Northerners were the only ones able to get around!

Snow Stop Date

When "Snowbirding" between Tucson and Western New York (Buffalo area) my limit lines were June 1st Northbound and September 30th. Southbound.

I live 15 miles north of the SC border on the coast. Snow is extremely rare so there is almost zero equipment to clear the roads. Brunswick County NC has 2 trucks with a plow. The plows are meant to move dirt ~~ not snow.

Ha! CAT-RN your buck is close to $1.50 up here right now. Seriously though to the OP we cross the border at Sarnia and have been in snow/slop as far as the North Georgia hills. We do two hard drives first night to mid Ohio and the second just north of Atlanta staying in hotels. Lots are pet friendly. Next stop is Lakeland FL where we stock the motorhome. Pretty common to see the pressure washers come out in the campgrounds to do away with the salt. We find it well worth the trouble to take the motorhome.

That's pretty much what we thought.
Two hard days.
Two hotels.
Dewinterize when we get there, and hit a truck wash.
Winterize before we leave, and drop it at the dealer for a clean/storage when we return.

Depends on the weather ... Sometimes northern Florida has snow ... Mother nature controls it all, unfortunately

One year not too long ago, I drove my Hot Rod to Florida in Jan for a car show and to visit my sister. On the way home I hit snow in Delaware. Second week of Jan.
