Just got back in January from seeing the manatees. Absolutely zen-like. Even caught sight of a manatee-mom nursing two babies. Enjoy the peace.

I'm going to shovel snow...

We'll be doing the usual I"m sure, a couple of local CG/Resorts. Have a new TV so we want to venture farther afield - still not decided on nashville or upstate NY (never been either place).

May spend a few days at Port Clinton/Camp Perry/Cedar Point area.

Would love to do Yellowstone, but that takes some planning to make happen. Thinking next year for a 'big trip out west' type thing.

Easter weekend at Elk Neck State park. It is a great place to walk the dog through the loops.

Pine Grove Furnace State Park in Pennsylvania where I'll be (gasp!) tent camping!

My truck/camper is just too big to make it thru the park.

If you go to Glacier, and it IS beautiful, just be aware that there is a high likelihood of snow in September. You might be happier going late August. It is a wonderful park. I recommend the Many Glacier campgrounds. It is the prettiest by far and is near many trailheads.

If you are not a "planner", and Yellowstone requires planning, you might try the Big Horn mountains in Wyoming. It's beautiful and remote. It's National Forest Service mostly so there is no electricity etc. Great camping West of Sheridan.
