Leaving home (Greensboro NC) on Sept. 13th for a niece's wedding in York, PA. From there to Spearfish, South Dakota to visit with old friends  . 10 days in SD, then a leisurely meandering back home  . It'll be our first long trip in the new Solera - Looking forward to REALLY breaking it in. October is Good Sam Rally in Atlanta, and November is Phrog rally in Charleston SC.

Well, was leaving Saturday next for grand canyon and Yosemite, but fires in Yosemite have changed our plans. Guess we'll head north for cooler weather and see where we end up. Got three weeks to ramble. Maybe Rushmore, crazy horse, devils tower, mall of America. So much to see in this great country. We'll find something.

Don't rush to get to MN and MOA. There are heat advisorys out for atleast the eastern 1/2 of MN and western 1/2 of WI until Wednesday or Thursday according to our local news here in western WI we are suppose to have temps of 93-95 until then (heat index of 100-110). Then right around 90 all the way through Labor Day.
Have fun on your trip!

Thanks. We're looking for 100+ all this coming week in north Louisiana. Guess we'll have to climb pikes peak to cool down. Ha. I'll watch weather forecast this week and head out with that info in mind.

Got back last night from the Adirondacks. Had a wonderful week and we did ok with just generator power a few hours a day. came back very relaxed and already miss it. As in the saying of this forum, it didn't happen if you don't post pictures, so here are a few of the over 400 I took for my 9 days of camping..

Thanks BombDoc.. We head out again Thursday night for the Labor Day Weekend.. I'll have to commute back in Friday for work but that is not a big deal...
The first picture was the night we stayed at Walmart I got to scratch that off my bucket list 
Also had my first flat tire on a camper. Never happened to me in 35 years, the morning we went to move to the lake front site I found the flat under the slide...Coachnet was going to take and hour.. so I changed it myself.. glad I packed the 4 ton bottle jack and the 2 star wrenches,....so one more off the list

We spent three nights in June at Tablerock State Park, located about six miles from Branson. The park was quite crowded and our campsite offered very little shade with temps at or near 100 degrees each day.
Regardless, this was our first trip to Branson and we had a great time...
