We have been at Lake Somerville Yegua Tx since last week. Had a hard time getting into our space nice spot on lake but trees in bad spot to get in. Then coming back to park that first night we hit a deer. Luckily very little damage to truck. Luckily no one coming opposite way so Erv swerved but still clipped him. Other than that very good time wonderful weather now to get out of this spot tomorrow!!! Were to next not sure.

Made reservations for Huntington Beach SP, SC for May 2014. During bike week, it turns out.
Seems like every time I go to Myrtle Beach it's bike week, no matter when I go!
I may have to take Myrtle Beach off my list...

Or buy a bike!

So far it looks like Fort Wilderness in January. My wife is considering postponing it until next November. I don't think I'm willing to wait that long.

You will love it there! We did. We covered the area for 2 weeks. Boogie boarding our favorite past time. Also loved the nature and history. Murrells inlet a lot of fun. Obviously a visit to Charleston for the history. The beach is pretty amazing. We went in August so the water was super nice. Can't wait to get back

We just took advantage of Black Friday at the South Carolina State parks by booking one week at each of six different state parks. We will be heading to Barnwell in February, Colleton in March, Poinsett in May, Croft in June, Saddlers Creek in July and finally Lake Wateree in October. Of course we will be planning other trips during the year but this is a good start for 2014.

We will leave December 26 for Brackenridge cg in Edna Tx for our annual NY eve camping trip with bff and her hubby. Didn't make it last year because she was awaiting her double lung transplant. Now we can go camping again.

I was stationed at Charleston Naval Station for 6 years or so, but my bride has never been, so we're going to take a drive down for a carriage tour.
