from where you are, i would go 39s to 74s (indy) and pick up 65 south to birmingham or montgomery. you can pick up whichever road you need to get to fla. when you get to either of those cities depending on where you want to end up.

We are breaking in our new Roo 23ss for the weekend of February 1st in Huntsville State Park in Texas. We will make a very quick return trip to Huntsville State Park on February 16th....one last shot at making sure everything is good to go for our Spring Break trip out to Caprock Canyon State Park in Texas.

We are very excited to begin our RV camping adventures. I have a hunch I still might pack my tent - out of habit!

Someone mentioned the Montgomery AL. route to me when we went to Disney. I think it is a longer route, but no mountains. we just took the standard "get the heck out of IL" route! we went I-65-I-24-I-75, through Nashville and Chatanooga. We had no issues except for the dense fog in the southern part of the Smoky`s around Chatanooga at 3 in the a.m!!!

Our next trip is Fort Pickens NP in Fl. We go about every three to four weeks somewhere and fort pickens is the favorite. Being in the south we really dont have to worry about freezing temps

Love Ocean Shores. What campgrounds are there? I'm from Nebraska now, but lived in WA until college many, many years ago.

Heading out to Up The Creek RV Park at Pigeon Forge, TN. Hiking up to the LeConte Lodge for one night. Plan on staying at Pigeon Forge for five nights and doing some shopping..
