hoping to go to Natchez trace rv park in south tn sometimes in early April (if we can work it in). if we can't, we will go to Poverty Pt (abt 20 or so miles down the road) in May.
Poverty Point is a nice State Park.

We are staying at Ocean City State Park. There are a few private parks as well. We also like Grayland State Park which is more south. There are a bunch of cranberry bogs in Grayland which are pretty cool. Both have miles of oceanfront beach to walk.

Great Area...I spent many summers on that lake as a kid. My grandfather had a place on the White River. Used to take a kayak from patrick brdge over the dam at dawt mill and on to Norfolk. Spent many many full days on the lake with Grandpa catching lots of Striped Bass.

2 years ago we did the circuit of the UP. Stayed at copperharbor and loved it,last year we went back to munising tourist park campground, the kids really like the area, lots to see. So back to munising we go, not really diggin towing back to copperharbor, narrow, winding, steep hills, but the exh brake really helped.

I've only snowmobiled up there.
But we did go to lake of the clouds last summer!
Great place to see!

we liked that area also, except for the fly`s in the summer, stayed at the state campground in the porkies, neighbors were really loud and not friendly 10 rednecks that like to drink and their camper was like 14 ft and built in the 1970 that thing should of been scrapped years ago

South Camping

Anyone coming down thru Georgia during the summer, got some very nice state, national and corp of engineer parks around here....one in Particular is Desoto Falls State Park over in Ft. Payne Ala..one of the best places we have been...full hookups and most sites are pull thru's...we will go back there again soon...
Also, Misletoe State Park in East Georgia close to Augusta..very homey and out of the way..
Just a few to name..
Of course Skidaway Island State Park is very nice, the state had sewer hookups going in back in January..
Blessings,
kick

Our next trip will be to Hilton Head Island during DW's spring break. It will be nice to be somewhere warm after a long northern Indiana winter. The only thing that is a concern is that I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery. I am worried about how tiring driving will be on my newly repaired shoulder. So, doing the physical therapy with a definite goal!

Hi,
August '13, crossing into Canada from Souix Locks, over thru Quebec City, into New Brunswec, down thru Maine, across from RI, NY, PA, OH, IN, and back to Appleton, WI.
We are driving a '08 Chevy 1500 and pulling a '10 Wolf Pup 17P. 3,700 mile trip. Should be good.
Any Suggestions, or comments?
