Sitting here trying to decide where our first camping trip for 2015 will be. Last year we did not get to camp that much...July 8 was our last trip. Yep....I was totally out of problems. This year I hope to get in many trips...just depending again on some family problems. As we get older and in the retired state a day means a lot more than it did years ago when we were young and working. Haven't been on here awhile because of what I mentioned above. It took it out of me...hope to have a brighter New Year.

Heading from Weatherford, Texas to Queen Creek, AZ in February for a radio-controlled model glider competition... I'll get there on Tuesday and the competition goes from Thursday through Sunday. There will be over 100 entries. A lot of the competitors will stay at the RV facility adjacent to the field. It's always a hoot with people from all over the country, and even some from Europe and New Zealand and Australia at times. The models run the full gambit from 2-meter balsa gliders all the way to 4-meter molded carbon fiber models. Every day's a holiday and every night is Saturday night!

Lake wales, florida

Cheryl and are heading out Monday morning Jan 5th to Lake Wales Florida. We found this neat little 17 site RV Park where we can stay for 2 months. Lake Wales is right in the middle of the state making it close to just about everything we want to visit. The Tampa RV Show is also close by so, we can visit our good friends Phil and his family, they too own a Crusader 270 RET like ours.
