Potters Creek, Canyon Lake, TX.

We are just purchasing a 2011 30wfkss Flagstaff and after returning from Florida we will check out the trailer at Potters Creek which is 20 miles from home .
We have stayed at Potters Creek quite a bit. Very nice and large sites. For seniors it was $9.00 a night which includes water and electricity, BUT NO sewers at the site. You have to go to the dump station. The one problem we have with it is we stand up paddle board and there is a lot of tall brush at shores edge. You don't know what could be "lurking" in there on a hot day. It is a very well maintained campground with nice showers.

Great site with a view of the lake right outside your door. Have fun this weekend.

Have fun Surfer. That place is about six miles down the road from us and we haven't camped there yet. What's up with that???

Been to Blanco SP lately? Also close to home and a great getaway, but you usually need to reserve three or four weeks out this time of year.

When you return tell us about the park. When we stayed in that area in March of 2010 Buccaneer SP was still closed and under repairs from the damage done by hurricane Katrina in 2005. I think it reopened just a couple of months after we left. I've heard it's really a beautiful park now.

The 17th will be the shakedown cruise for the new camper at the local KOA. Then we have a week in June planned for the St Louis area. Then the biggy, a week at Glacier/Waterton National Parks in July with stops in Wyoming along the way. I've been planning the Glacier trip in my mind for years and I'm so excited to finally cross this off the list!

Had a coach ten years ago and stayed at the RV park in the upper left of your pic over the July 4th holiday. We had a great time, complete with awesome fireworks displays over the bay. Have a nice trip!

Yes, the town has firework displays every Friday night during the summer months. The park you speak of is the KOA. Ill have my TT parked there for the entire month of July, kids and wife are off for the summer so we make good use of the TT.
