we are looking at going to the Destin area FL in Nov thru March then back to Abilene. we are wanting to spend the winter at the beaches. Then in Aug to the big FR Rally.

We are camping next weekend at one of the most beautiful places near Branson, Missouri called Mill Creek. A C.O.E. campground that will be closing for the winter, shutting off the water the end of October. For those of us that read and talk to the many campers that visit Branson, we know the private campgrounds rarely have any view at all of the lake, but only offer looking at either trees or other campers. Nothing beats waking up in the morning just a few feet from the lakeshore, sitting at your campsite and hearing the fish jumping and distant boat motors' starting of the fisherman getting ready to test their luck. Put on the bacon!!!

Lake D'Arbone State Park North Louisiana. Beautiful rolling hills next to lake. Great fishing lake and just a place to relax and watch the time pass.

This is a really nice kid friendly park. Spent two different weeks there with grand children this summer, they had a blast.

While I have never have been to Elk Neck, it seems to have a pretty good following and difficult to get into during the summer months.
I believe we are heading to Bull Run the second week in November.

Headed to st joseph peninsula state park for two days and then to crystal river to swim with the manatees . Nine whole days leaving day after christmas!

Manatee swimming is an incredible experience in Crystal River...enjoy!

Manatee Springs State park at Chiefland Florida a good park also. Not sure If you can still swim with the manatees their but use to be able to. Beautiful place on Suwannee River

Might head to Brackenridge Recreational Center in Edna, Texas. Since Ervin passed away in July I am learning real quick how to pull which is ok to me. Gone to Jamaica Beach Rv in Galveston and Lake Somerville, Texas. The backing is ok but I still need practice. Need to do a lot since I want to go to the rally in Goshen. Maybe by then Zi will find someone to caravan with from Santa Fe Texas area.
