2012 Forester 2651 shower drain

Does the shower drain into the gray water tank or the black water tank on the 2012 Forester 2651s?

We had an empty black water tank 3 days ago. Took two showers, the toilet was used very little because we had access to public restrooms, and the black water tank indicator lights said the tank was full after two days.

Drains into the gray water tank...I wonder if its just a bad reading on the black tank. If it's got a black tank flush, try there, there may be some debris on the probes.

I used a flashlight to look down into the tank. It's full. The motor home had a little over 2000 miles on it when we bought it and the fresh water tank was about 1/3 full, so I'm thinking maybe the person or persons who delivered it to the dealer may have used the toilet a number of times. I don't have a problem with that, I was just worried that we might have to limit our showers if it was draining into the black water tank.

Thanks much for the reply.

By the way, the salesman at the dealership told me the holding tanks had a new kind of sensor that did not have probes in the tank that could have a build up of debris on them. Is that not correct?

Depends on who you bought it from. We do a few custom builds.

We bought it from Best RV in Turlock, CA. It seems to have a lot of extras on it, like two tv's (one 110v and one 12v), remote control heated exterior mirrors, backup camera, arctic pack (we'll never use in California), etc.
