2013 3121DS House Batteries

Hi Everyone,

I just put two (2) brand new Sears Die Hard house batteries in my rig. It calls for two group 27 sized batteries but I put in two group size 29 batteries. They fit a bit snug in the compartment but they seem to be vented just fine.

My question is this, should I be concerned at all that I put a group size 29 vice 27 in my RV?

Thanks

Nope...the only possible problem is that many of the diehard "deep cycles" are really dual purpose start & deep cycle which is less than an optimal choice. A good hint is if they specify cold cranking amps and its' hard to find a 20 amp hour reserve rating. Just be sure you got a true deep cycle.
Otherwise a Group 29 size is an excellent choice for a few more amphours at the campground.
