Question 2013 e450 trailer brake controler

Hello All,

What is the best option for a brake controler can i get one from ford or after market. I want to pull a trailer with my motorcycle on it and I would like brakes. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 controller. I have used them on two trucks and the Sunseeker over the years. You can get a connection harness specific to the E450 so it's basically a plug and play hookup. Just be aware that you won't find the hookup plug from below the dash. For some reason it is at the top of the dash behind the little coin tray thing. Just pry the dash fascia back and the plug is right there. You can fish the connection harness from the controller up to it.

Thanks for the information I will check into getting the p2
I just sold my coachman e350 and picked up a sunseeker on a e450 I am not that happy with the brakes on my new unit so iwill be installing the p2 to help with the braking.
