And I just noticed you were the one who made that post about the post in that other thread.

2 birds killed in one thread. Nothing wrong with that huh? If I made a new thread every time I had a question, lord knows how many threads I'd have. Besides, some of my threads remain unanswered, thus throwing another question in on one that has attracted a little more attention.

Mine was built the beginning of November 2011 and I must be lucky enough to get the last of the 30 gallon tanks. Not a concern because I rarely camp without hookups. It would be easy to add another 20-25 gallons capacity to both the gray and fresh water tanks if I ever would need it.

Back to the stain. I tried the gunstock 231 on maple and poplar. Kind of close, but not close enough. Is it possible to get a quart of stain from FR that would be a closer match? We'll be up there in late march.

Bigjohnd I asked that question once and the answer was no !

They buy in 55 gallon barrels and stain varies widely from barrel to barrel.

Dang. Oh we'll. I'll just take one of the doors to a paint / stain store and a scrap piece of maple and have them try to match it.
