2015 forester 2861 back-up camera control unit

Does anyone know where the controller for the back up camera is located?

On my 2017 2861, it is under the dash to the left of the steering column. It is a silver colored box about the size of a deck of cards held in place with cable ties.

The controller is called a multiplexer and as previous mentioned under the dash. Mine is to the left of the steering column.
