I believe the 5 speed trans goes with the standard 5.4 engine / option for v10. The V10 option has the 6 speed transmission.
The standard 5.4L Triton® V8 engine’s single overhead camshaft architecture produces 255 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque across a wide power band. It features a silent-design cam drive for smooth, quiet operation, plus a fail-safe cooling system and a 97,500-mile scheduled tune-up interval.* The 5.4L V8 is also flex-fuel-capable,** which means it’s capable of running on E85, unleaded gasoline or any combination of the two. This engine is coupled with the TorqShift® 5-speed automatic transmission.
TorqShift 5 speed trans
"Coupled with the 5.4L Triton® V8 engine or available 6.8L Triton V10, the TorqShift® automatic can handle your tough jobs. They feature a selectable tow/haul mode that compensates for altitude, grade and load conditions"
Featuring a muscular 305 horsepower and best-in-class 420 lb.-ft. of torque, the available 6.8L Triton® V10 is for big applications requiring lots of raw power. It’s coupled with the TorqShift® 6-speed automatic transmission, which includes a selectable tow/haul mode that compensates for altitude, grade and load conditions.
