2016 forester 3051 windshield wipers died in middle of storm!!!!

Driving through AZ today and was smack in the middle of a storm with lots of rain and very strong crosswinds.

Right in the middle of it my wipers on my 2016 3051S stopped working all together!

Not a forest river problem a Ford problem but I figured I'd let everyone know since it was my first cross country trip in the coach. CA to MD

Ended up being a clip that came undone I fixed it with a screwdriver but a pain in the neck anyways!

Clip is located under driver side vent area where wiper arms attach there is an oval rubber gasket you can pull off and see where the motor and the wiper arm linkage come together this Clip is what keeps them together it just popped off and was laying under the oval rubber gasket

That's why properly applied RainX or equivalent is soooo important. It is so good that you don't even need your wipers in a storm. I wouldn't drive without it.
